Victor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo document that it was there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy would Victor need that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClaire says he suspected Elliot might act independently.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I looked at Ortiz.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen Victor may have been protecting Chloe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOr protecting himself from a murder tied to The accident happened the following evening.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo he knew there was concern.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd still let you drive later.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That mattered.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever Marcus knew, whatever he feared, he had not warned his wife.<\/p>\n<p>At 7:11, the prepaid phone sent one final message.<\/p>\n<p>TOMORROW. NOON.<\/p>\n<p>Then:<\/p>\n<p>BRING THE NOTE YOU WROTE ABOUT S.
