mother.<\/p>\n<p>Elena Monroe.<\/p>\n<p>Michael looked genuinely surprised.<\/p>\n<p>That mattered more than anything.<\/p>\n<p>Evelyn walked toward us with her cane striking the concrete.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou always did enjoy making yourself indispensable, Michael.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He stared at her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElena.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The scarred woman said, \u201cWrong dropped.<\/p>\n<p>Then the woman beside her\u2014Evelyn\u2019s supposed companion\u2014removed a dark wig.<\/p>\n<p>Same face.<\/p>\n<p>No scar.<\/p>\n<p>Elena.<\/p>\n<p>Two sisters.<\/p>\n<p>Both
